This firm has been run according to biological principles since 1969 and was thus one of the first in this region to do so. Only compost from the firm itself and gravel are used to fertilize the vineyards; the soil gains its necessary nitrogen through the legumes. Synthetic fertilizers have not been used for 25 years.
The vineyards belonging to this firm are fertilized on requirement and have a green covering or straw cover during the winter months. The vines display cordon cutting.
