In 1998, General Joseph G. Bitar decided to realize his dream of making wine in his beloved Batroun (Botrys), a region north of Beirut whose name can be traced back to the Phoenicians and Greeks. The soil and the climate of the region make terrific terroir for red, rosé and white wines.
