Description	The vineyards of the largest producer in Ribeiro, a cooperative established in 1967, are situated at an altitude of 200-300m and are exposed to frost and bad weather. A greater variety of vines are grown in Ribeiro than in Rías Baixas, whereby the most simple are the green Treixadura, Palomino, Macabeo and Torrontés. The Ribeiro wines contain slightly less alcohol than those in Rías Baixas.
